Chief Secretary visits Civil Secretariat Srinagar, residential flats of employees | KNO

Takes stock of arrangements to facilitate smooth functioning of offices from 7th May

SRINAGAR, MAY 6 (KNO) : Chief Secretary B B Vyas Sundaytook stock of the arrangements put in place for opening of offices as part of the annual darbar move to the summer capital Srinagar. The Civil Secretariat and other move offices will start functioning in Srinagar from Monday i.e7th of May, 2018.

Chief Secretary visited the Civil Secretariat and inspected the arrangements in offices of various departments including the Chief Minister's Secretariat. He also inspected the new office facilities constructed adjacent to the main Secretariat building. Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, DC Srinagar, SSP Security Civil Secretariat, SSP Srinagar, Director Estates, President Civil Secretariat, Employees Union and other senior officers were also present. Chief Secretary also visited the various Government residential quarters of employees in Srinagar including Budshah and Tulsi Bagh flats.

He took stock of the sanitation, drinking water and electricity facilities besides the security arrangements. Chief Secretary expressed satisfaction with the overall arrangements put in place to facilitate smooth and hassle free working of offices in the Civil Secretariat from Mondayand facilities at the residential accommodation of employees.
